The village is mentioned in documents from 1769 as part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

+From 1795 it became part of the Russian Empire in the Kobryn district of the Slonim province, later the Lithuanian province, and from 1801 the Grodno province. +

+In 1858 the village was the center of a rural community in Drohiczyn volost. It belonged to several estates and landowners, with state peasants recorded in the area. In 1905 there were 18 inhabitants. +

+From 1921 to 1939 it was part of Poland, in Drohiczyn gmina, Drohiczyn powiat, Polesie Voivodeship. In 1921 there were 15 households and 96 inhabitants. +
