The village was established in 1960 during the liquidation of farmsteads and small settlements. The first settlers came from the Rowiny colony, which in 1959 was part of the Starosielsk village council.

The settlement developed during the Soviet period, and by 1970 it had 183 residents. By 1995, it had grown to 86 households and 251 residents.
