From the inventory of 1591 there were 116 houses, 9 swaths of land and 10 unoccupied swaths in the village.</p> + + <p>From 1795 it was a part of the Russian Empire, Kobrin district, Slonim district, from 1797 Lithuanian, from 1801 Grodno province. There were 101 surveyed souls (state villagers) together with the villages Dubowa and Lawy. In 1921 there were 3 courtyards and 20 inhabitants. In 1930 there were 6 courtyards. From 12.10.1940 in Detkowicze village council, there were 49 inhabitants. Since 1941 the village was under German occupation. During those years partisan detachments operated in the surrounding forests. After one of the skirmishes Germans burned the village, but almost all the inhabitants managed to hide in the swamps, but one elderly woman died. Since 08.08.1959 in Drohiczyn district, 45 inhabitants, in 1970 - 46 inhabitants, in 1995 - 4 yards and 7 inhabitants.
