<p>On the map of single wrap map we can see that there is a homestead on the place of today's Gubernja, and part of the estate is to the left of Antopol.</p>

<p>On the 1846-1863 military topographic map of the Russian Empire, the place to the left of Antopol shows the New Antopol estate, and the place of today's Gubernja is the Old Antopol estate.</p>

<p>In the estate of Gubernja, Kobryn district, lived the brother of the poet Adam Mickiewicz, Alexander Julian Mickiewicz. After retiring around 1859, Alexander Mickiewicz, a former professor of Roman law at the Kharkov University, bought the Gubernja estate in Polesie and moved there with his wife Teresa and their two children, Franciszek and Maria. In Gubernia he wrote the works “Encyclopedia of Law” and “Course of Roman Law” (unpublished). In 1863 he assisted the rebels of the detachment of Romuald Traugutt.</p>
<p>In 1905, Gubernja is mentioned as a folvarek of the Antopol estate; there were 27 inhabitants in Antopol parish, Kobryn district, Grodno province.</p>
<p>From 1921 to 1939 in Poland, in Antopol commune, Kobryn district, Polesie voivodeship, settlement (colony), numbered 17 households, 128 inhabitants. In 1930 there were 35 households. The village is shown on the WIG map:</p>

<p>From 1939 in the BSSR. In 1940-59 in Antopol district, Brest region. From 1940 in Pervomayskiy village council, there were 35 households. In the Great Patriotic War 2 inhabitants of the village died, 9 villagers did not return from the front. The village is marked on the map of the Red Army:</p>

<p>In 1948 a collective farm was established. In 1959 there were 174 inhabitants in Pervomayskiy village council, Drohiczyn district. In 1970 - 279 inhabitants, in 1995 - 169 yards and 476 inhabitants.</p>
