<p>The village was mentioned in written sources in 1778, a suburb of the town of Drohiczyn, within the borders of Drohiczyn county. There were 357 inhabitants, a Jewish household, a tavern.</p>
<p>From 1795 it was a part of Russian Empire, in Kobryn district, Slonim district, from 1797 in Lithuanian, from 1801 in Grodno province. The village on Napoleon's map of 1812:</p>

<p>Archive RGIA, F. 384 Op. 4 D. 1469, extreme dates June 22, 1850 - July 31, 1851, there is a mention of her village:</p>
<blockquote>
On the transfer of the peasants of the Lipniki estate of Grodno province to the sharecropping.
</blockquote>
<p>In 1858, in Drohiczyn parish, Kobryn district, the village of Lipniki, part of the estate of Jozefina Friedrich Kühn. There were 134 revision souls (state villagers). Lipniki, also belonged to the estate Gajewka of the landowner Krestinowa, there were 102 revision souls (state villagers). There was a working church and a public school. In 1886 the village Lipniki had 31 yards and 332 inhabitants. There was a working church and a drinking house. In the “Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland and other Slavic countries, Volume XV part 2”, there is also a description of the village and it is called Lipniki-Litowskie, the latest dates of information from this volume were published in 1902, and the farm Lipniki belonged to the table estate of Jozefina Zamanilow. In 1905 there were 468 inhabitants, a church and a parochial school. The village is on the one-verst map:</p>

<p>From 1921 to 1939 it was a part of Poland, in Drohiczyn commune, Drohiczyn district, Poleskie voivodeship. In 1921 there were 35 households and 270 inhabitants, of whom 268 were Orthodox. The village is on the Polish map WIG:</p>

<p>From 04.12.1939 in the BSSR, in Drohiczyn parish, Drohiczyn district, Pinsk region. There were 109 households and 797 inhabitants, there was an elementary school. From 15.01.1949 in Drohiczyn district, from 12.10.1940 the center of Lipniki village council. The village on the map of Red Army:</p>

<p>In the Great Patriotic War 17 inhabitants of the village died, 14 at the front. Since 1954 in Brest region. In 1959 there were 86 households. Since 1960 in Starosielsk village council, since 1965 in Drohiczyn village council. In 1970 there were 181 yards and 515 inhabitants. In 1995 - 301 yards and 859 inhabitants. In 1970 the village was annexed to the village of Pikacze.</p>
