    <p>In written sources it was mentioned in 1783, in the inventory of Bezdziez Key, Grand Duchy of Lithuania.</p>

    <p>From 1795 in the Russian Empire, Kobryn district, Slonim, from 1797 Lithuanian, from 1801 Grodno province. The village is on Schubert's map of 1826-1840:</p>

    <p>In 1858 the village, the center of the rural community in Bezdziez volost, had 226 revision souls (state villagers). The village is on the one-verst map:</p>

    <p>From 1921 to 1939 it was a part of Poland, in Bezdziez Commune, Drohiczyn District, Poleskie Voivodeship. In 1921, 57 yards and 312 inhabitants, in the village there was an underground cell of the "Communist Party of Western Belarus". The village is on the Polish map WIG:</p>

    <p>From 04.12.1939 in the BSSR, in Bezdziez parish, Drohiczyn district, Pinsk region. From 12.10.1940 in Bezdziez village council, Drohichy district, there was a brickyard and an elementary school. The village is on the Red Army map:</p>

    <p>During the Great Patriotic War 39 inhabitants of the village were killed, 19 died at the front. Since 1954 in Brest region. In 1960 there were 499 inhabitants, in 1970 there were 404 inhabitants, in 1995 there were 84 yards and 239 inhabitants.</p>
