<p>
Swaryn is mentioned in the 16th century as Swaryczewicze in the Pinsk district of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
In 1531 it is recorded in a deed of gift to Queen Bona.

In 1884 a cemetery chapel was built. Late 19th century sources mention about 86 houses and 443 inhabitants.
