<p>In the Lithuanian archive there is a plan of the Tolkowa estate for September 18, 1839.</p>
<p>As we can see the manor is called on the plan “Tolkowa Manor”. And the very name “Tolkowo” as a village is formed from 3 villages: Kagaly, Kazany and Yackiwcy.</p>
