<p>The settlement appears on maps from approximately 1846 to 1863 years, on the military topographic map of the Russian Empire:</p>

<p>It was mentioned in written sources in 1858 as an estate belonging to Friedrich Küno, in the Drohiczyn volost, Kobryn district, Grodno province. In 1890, the Jozefin-Zamanilow estate belonged to landowner Michal Arcybaszew (Artibashev), 481 dessiatines of land. In the RGIA archive, F. 577, Op. 10, D. 986, with the extreme dates being September 27, 1871 - February 29, 1872, there is a mention of our village:</p>

</blockquote>
<p>In 1905, the estate had a population of 18. The village on the one-verst map:</p>

<p>It's worth noting the first entry in the NIABGr f.24 op.15 d.715, for June 4, 1913 - August 14, 1913:</p>

Case concerning changes to census records in connection with the relocation of peasants Fedor and Ignatii Szugaev from the village of Gorozdycze to the village of Jozefin, Kobryn District (1st Section, 4th Desk).
</blockquote>
<p>Also in the NIABGr, f.24, op.15, d.2754, for January 15, 1914 - May 8, 1915:</p>
<blockquote>
Case concerning amendments to the tax books of the Treasury Chamber in connection with the sale of land from the Jozefin estate in Kobryn district (2nd section, 2nd table) to peasants Taras Janczyk, Tit Wojtowicz, and others.
</blockquote>
<p>From 1921 to 1939, the Jozefin colony was part of Poland, in the Drohiczyn gmina, Drohiczyn district, Polesie voivodeship. In 1921, it had 21 households and 47 residents. The village on the German military map kdwr:</p>

<p>From December 4, 1940, in the Dohiczyn District, and from October 12, 1949, in the Lipniki Village Council, with 25 households and 128 residents. In 1960, 157 residents; since 1965, in the Drohizyn Village Council. In 1970, there were 154 residents; in 1995, 37 households and 83 residents.</p>
